Search Pursuant to Arrest
Subject was arrested in his home and taken to a patrol car pursuant to that arrest. LE then searched the home and found a firearm. Court extended the decision in Arizona v. Gant to apply to homes; that is, LE can only search subject and the area within his immediate reach pursuant to arrest.
